The French government is mobilising "all State services" to "reduce the risks" associated with the Kirk depression, announced the Minister for Ecological Transition and Energy, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, at a press briefing at the Ministry. She called on all French people to ‘exercise caution’ as 29 departments were placed on orange alert and one department on red alert in the face of the 'Kirk' weather front which is approaching France.
