Kenyan President William Ruto pledges an additional 600 officers for the UN-backed mission to Haiti, following a meeting with Haiti's visiting prime minister Garry Conille, as both urge the international community to "urgently" do more. "Our officers are working closely with the Haitian National Police to restore order, structure and create safe spaces where Haitians can thrive," Ruto says at a joint press conference with Conille in Kenya's capital Nairobi.
