A group of Ukrainian journalists gathers on Maidan Square to commemorate Victoria Roshchyna, a colleague who died in Russian detention. Roshchyna, who would have turned 28 this month, was captured in August 2023 while reporting from Russian-occupied eastern Ukraine. After months of uncertainty, her death was confirmed in April 2024 by a letter from Moscow's defense ministry.
