Description
As a seventh negotiation meeting between the State and local Martinican actors is to be held Tuesday in Fort-de-France, surrounding the issue of how to lower the cost of living, RPPRAC leader Rodrigue Petitot calls on distributors to be "reasonable". "If there is no agreement tomorrow, I think the government will have to take its responsibilities since it is up to it to put a middle ground in all of this" says the Assembly for the Protection of Afro-Caribbean Peoples and Resources' chief, behind the protests that have shaken the French island in recent weeks.
