Supporters of a newly proposed bill to legalise assisted dying in England and Wales, introduced in the UK parliament by Labour MP Kim Leadbeater, protest outside Westminster Palace asking for a change in the law. Leadbeater says her bill reflects a shift in public opinion towards assisted dying, which has been legalised to varying degrees in a number of European countries.
