French President Emmanuel Macron denounced a "lack of professionalism" on the part of ministers, journalists, reproaching them for "distorted comments" on Israel, which led to a heated debate with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Macron was quoted as saying in a cabinet meeting on October 15 that Israel "must not forget" it owed its existence to a United Nations resolution after its troops fired on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
