The dominant political force in Iraq's oil-rich autonomous Kurdistan region was leading by a figure of two-to-one in the preliminary vote tally for legislative elections held on the weekend, the electoral commission said on Monday. The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), the largest party in the outgoing parliament, has received more than 800,000 votes so far in the preliminary count after Sunday's election, the commission said.
