Standing in his garage in a suburb of Detroit, Adam Hijazi sorts clothes, shoes and toys that residents in the Arab-American majority community of Dearborn have donated for Lebanon, where a conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has claimed the lives of at least 1,580 people since September 23. "We weren't going to just sit down and do absolutely nothing," says Hijazi.
