Description
Information Minister Ziad Makary says Lebanon has filed complaints with the United Nations after three journalists were killed by Israeli strikes in the country's south, more than a month into its war with Hezbollah. "Lebanon has not signed the Rome Statute, which would allow us to bring cases before the International Criminal Court... we cannot go to these courts; however, this does not prevent us from attempting to find alternative ways to pursue charges against Israel on this matter," explains Makary.
