Thousands of protesters take to London’s streets in a counter protest against a demonstration by far-right activist Tommy Robinson. Protestors march from Piccadilly Circus to Whitehall, carrying placards reading slogans including ‘Oppose Tommy Robinson’ and ‘Smash the far-right’. The Metropolitan Police imposed restrictions to prevent the opposing groups from coming near each other due to fears of violence.
