EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell calls for "a political solution" to end the conflict in the Middle East, "which cannot be other than a process leading to the creation of a State for Palestine" he adds. His comments come after a meeting between Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) members in Barcelona, with Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jose Manuel Albares adding: "We have put back on the table the need for a political horizon to implement the two-state solution."
