Thai Red Cross staff dress up as spirits and ghouls as part of a Halloween event to encourage more blood donations. The Red Cross' National Blood Centre expects the event to bring in triple or quadruple the average daily amount of donations, Piyanun Kumkrong, its assistant director, tells AFP. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
