Description
Pablo Picasso created some 2,400 prints throughout his career, works that may be seen as a kind of personal diary, highlighting a lesser-known side to the Spanish artist. They are on display in a new exhibition at the British Museum, titled ‘Picasso: printmaker’. Around one hundred prints will be on show at the prestigious London museum until 30 March 2025. "We really wanted to show that printmaking was a really important, creative area of his work", says curator Catherine Daunt. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
