Description
The foreign ministers of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Angola meet in the east of the DRC and affirm the need for warring parties to respect a ceasefire. "We, Rwanda, are still committed to the Luanda process," says Olivier Nduhungirehe, Rwanda's Minister of Foreign Affairs. A ceasefire between the DRC army and the Rwanda-backed M23 had been in place since early August following mediation by Angola. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
