Supporters celebrate Cameroonian President Paul Biya’s 42 years in power with rallies and events in the capital Yaounde. His supporters are also urging the 91-year-old leader to stand for an eighth term in office. "Today is an opportunity for us to wish him a happy birthday, and to call on him to stand once again, don't you agree, in the forthcoming presidential elections", said Hamadou Nambou, chairman of the ruling RDPC party.
