50 original Lucky Luke plates, kept by the descendants of illustrator Morris, will be auctioned by Christie's on 15 November. The plates have been selected with a view to documenting the ‘evolution of drawing’ by Morris and providing a ‘retrospective’ of the Belgian cartoonist's career, explains Vincent Belloy, specialist in the books and manuscripts department and director of the sale for Christie's.
