Description
Lithuanian MPs are sworn into parliament after a coalition deal, which risks sparking a constitutional crisis. Thousands of people protest in Vilnius against the inclusion of Nemunas Dawn, a party whose leader is on trial over alleged anti-Semitic remarks, in the ruling coalition as members of the new parliament are taking their oath. "I think this majority is not stable," says the current Lithuanian Minister of Environment, adding that the "choice of the Social Democrats", who came out on top in the October elections and forged the coalition deal that includes the populist party, was "really strange."
