Japan's foreign minister says North Korean troops entering the Ukraine conflict will have an "extremely significant" effect on East Asian security. The minister is on a visit to Kyiv, where he has pledged support to Ukraine as Moscow's invasion drags on for almost three years.
"We are seriously concerned over this development, and strongly condemn it," Takeshi Iwaya says, reacting to North Korean troops allegedly being deployied in Russia's border Kursk region. SOUNDBITE
