Venezuela has released at least 93 of the 2,400 people detained in the country's post-election unrest, NGOs reported Saturday, while a source in the prosecutor's office told AFP that a total of 225 people would be freed this weekend. Those released had taken part in protests against the disputed reelection of Nicolas Maduro in July.
"I had faith that we were all going to get out because we are all innocent," political prisoner Andres Galea told AFP. "We are all innocent, this is a process that was expected and that takes time." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
