Senegalese people vote to elect their deputies in early legislative elections. The results will determine whether the new government elected earlier this March will be able to secure a majority, and implement its programme of reforms. Mademba Ndiaye, a 20-year-old student, is voting for the first time in his life: “If we don't vote, we couldn't really complain about what happens in society afterwards." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
