Description
Georgian opposition stages new protest in capital Tbilisi a day after the country's poll body confirmed the ruling party's win in a contested parliamentary vote, marked by claims of Russian meddling and Western calls to investigate alleged fraud. Some of the protesters get ready to spend the night at a major city street junction next to the Tbilisi state university. One of the opposition party leaders, Nika Gvaramia, says "we need to endure this type of discomfort for a while, traffic collapse and so on," or else "we have no future and end up in the Soviet Union," he warns.
