Nila Ibrahimi, 17, who narrowly escaped after the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan three years ago, on Tuesday November 19 won the prestigious KidsRights Prize for her fight for women's rights. "This award represents the bravery of all Afghan women (...) who have shown time and again that no restriction, no oppression, and no hardship can silence them," says Ibrahimi at the event.
