Checking imported books, removing texts from libraries and distributing lists of banned titles -- Taliban authorities are working to remove "un-Islamic" and anti-government literature from circulation.
"We evaluate all the books that arrive here for things that are contrary to religion, faith, which can create issues in our society," Zalmai Forotan a member of the book evaluation team in Herat tells AFP. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
