Romania's Social Democrat Prime Minister and leading presidential candidate Marcel Ciolacu casts his vote in the first round of the Eastern European country's presidential election, a contest where polls show he may be run close by the far-right leader George Simion. The presidential vote kicks off two weeks of elections in the NATO member country, including a parliamentary vote and a December 8 presidential run-off.
