Description
Ahead of Ireland's general election on November 29, the cost of living, insufficient job opportunities and the price of property are key concerns for young voters. Seven out of 10 people aged between 18 and 24 are considering leaving Ireland due to a lack of professional opportunities, according to a survey by the National Youth Council of Ireland. "Young people don't feel that they have a sufficient quality of life in Ireland," said Kathryn Reilly Walsh, Director of Policy and Advocacy at the National Youth Council of Ireland.
