Pokrovsk local Vitaliy Asinenko is one of the few remaining people in the eastern Ukrainian town. Despite Russian forces closing in, Asinenko is busy fixing damaged power lines for the Ukrainian energy operator DTEK Donetsk Grids. “Even if there is only one person left in the city and we can safely restore the power lines, we will still come here, we will still work,” says Asinenko defiantly.
