In Arras, northern France, around a hundred farmers from the Coordination Rurale group converge on the local prefecture, driving around fifty tractors through the town before dumping bales of straw, pallets, tires and manure in front of the prefecture. "Income problems are fundamental for at least 50% of farmers (...), and the year has been catastrophic in many areas", explains Patrick Legras, President of the Coordination Rurale for the Hauts-de-France region.
