Description
Saxophone "saved his life". "It was the only thing I knew how to do well", confides musician Ferdi. At the age of 29, the saxophonist is now releasing his first album, "Take 01", in which he aims to show that "it can be cool" to play the sax, by mixing pop and jazz sounds "into a much more modern register and environment". The French artist, who grew up in Somain and now lives in Brussels, never separates from his instrument, a French-made Selmer Mark VI, with which he has also accompanied his friend, the pianist Sofiane Pamart.
