Iceland's Social Democratic Alliance is leading the ruling Independence Party according to early results of snap legislative elections, prompting cheers from supporters and party leader Kristrun Frostadottir watching the results from an election vigil in Reykjavik.
"This is very positive to see but the night is still young," Frostadottir told AFP.
