Dozens of countries warn that a handful of nations are obstructing efforts in South Korea to reach an ambitious landmark global treaty to curb plastic pollution. With hours to go until negotiations are scheduled to end in Busan, a group of mostly oil-producing "like-minded countries" have reportedly refused to compromise on key sticking points. "If we don't get an ambitious treaty out of Busan, history will not forgive us. This is the time to step up or get out," Panama representative Juan Carlos Monterrey Gomez tells reporters.
