Description
Just after midnight as poisonous plumes of smoke wafted through the Indian city of Bhopal forty years ago, Gas Devi was born, gasping for every breath.
Some 3,500 people were killed in the immediate aftermath of the Bhopal gas leak on December 2nd, 1984, and up to 25,000 are estimated to have died overall, making it the world's deadliest industrial disaster.
