The Norwegian Nobel Committee urges Iran to permanently release jailed Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi, after Tehran released her for three weeks on medical grounds. Mohammadi, 52, has been repeatedly tried and jailed for her vocal campaigning against Iran's widespread use of capital punishment and its mandatory dress code for women. "It's our hope that the regime and the pressure from the outside world, including the Norwegian Nobel Committee, will result in her release one day," says Jørgen Watne Frydnes, chairman of the Norwegian Nobel committee.
