Description
Thousands of protesters rally in front of South Korea's National Assembly on Seoul on December 5 in the evening, calling for the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol, after a martial law U-turn. Yoon suspended civilian rule late on Tuesday December 3, and deployed troops and helicopters to parliament only for lawmakers to vote down the measure and force him into a U-turn in a night of protests and drama. "I think he should go beyond impeachment, go through due process, be investigated, and pay all the costs," says protester Kim Yu-jin.
