Ten years ago, Hungarian artist Tamas Kanya began work on the "Elves Village", using only organic materials, without knowing where his burst of creativity would lead to. Today the enchanting settlement, made of tiny houses, bridges and ladders serves as a feeding ground for birds and squirrels, and is open to visitors. "Everyone sees the same things, it reminds them of their childhood, of storybooks, fairy tales, fairies, elves. It's like a picture, or a book illustration," says Kanya. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
