Description
A French delegation arrives at the country's embassy in Damascus, the first visit of diplomats from France since Bashar al-Assad's ouster by Islamist-led rebels. "Through this gesture, we wish to show that France is preparing to be with Syrians for the long term," says French envoy to Syria Jean-Francois Guillaume from outside the embassy.
