Anti-whaling activist Paul Watson says his arrest "has focused international attention on Japan's continuing illegal whaling operations". Speaking after his release from a five-month detention in Greenland, following a decision by Denmark to refuse a Japanese extradition request, Watson says the period "has been an extension of the campaign."
