Description
A high-level delegation from Libya, led by Libyan Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Ellafi, Labour Minister and Libyan intelligence chief Mahmoud Hamza, arrives at Damascus airport ahead of a meeting with Syria's new leader Ahmed al-Sharaa. It is the latest foreign visit since the fall of Bashar al-Assad this month. Power in Libya is divided between the UN-recognised government based in the capital Tripoli and a rival administration in the east backed by military strongman Khalifa Haftar, who also controls the south.
