A group of citizens in Mayotte call on France's new Prime Minister Francois Bayrou to take action after the most devastating cyclone to hit the archipelago in 90 years caused colossal damage in France's poorest department in mid-December, killing at least 39 people and leaving more than 4,000 injured. Bayrou is expected to visit Monday, but, “If it's just to make more announcements” then it’s “just another official trip,” says Sylviane Amavi, representative of the Mayotte Citizens’ Collective.
