British skipper Pip Hare brings her boat Medallia into Melbourne after being forced out of the Vendee Globe solo non-stop round the world yacht race by a dismasting south of Australia. The 50-year-old was devastated but unhurt when the mast snapped in heavy seas on December 16. IMAGES
