Description
To mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps, AFP met with survivors around the world. "In 1944, my whole family was sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau, I was 12 years old," says Holocaust survivor Naftali Furst, 92. After the war he and his brother were reunited with their parents, who had also survived. They eventually immigrated to Israel where Naftali worked as a photographer, driving instructor and manager before retiring. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
