Members and supporters of the Palestinian Fatah movement gather with flags for a rally ahead of the sixtieth anniversary of its establishment in the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Tensions in Jenin -- also a frequent target of Israeli military raids -- have escalated after Palestinian security forces arrested several activists and militants.
