Hundreds of thousands of revellers welcome the New Year in Rio de Janeiro on the iconic Copacabana beach with the traditional fireworks. "I asked for love. I asked for prosperity and I asked for peace" says the reveller Luana Rodrigues da Silva after throwing flowers on the ocean as a wish.
