Description
A man lays flowers and candles on a sidewalk on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, with few hints of the grisly New Year’s truck-ramming attack that left at least 14 people dead and 30 others injured.
Cleaning crews had washed down the streets of the famed French Quarter after authorities largely concluded their on-site investigation.
Passers-by stop to cry and pray, while just around the corner, two men glue photos of the victims to wooden crosses as the neighbourhood slowly gets back to business. IMAGES
