The former British deputy prime minister has announced his resignation as president of Meta's global affairs, having joined the company in late 2018 as it grappled with the fallout of the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal. Clegg said he will remain at Meta for several months while handing over the reins to Republican stalwart Joel Kaplan who served as deputy chief of staff for policy under then-president George W.
