Description
Guinean opposition activists and a lawyer express alarm after Aliou Bah, who heads the opposition Liberal Democratic Movement (MoDel), was handed two years in prison for "insulting and defaming" the head of the ruling junta. "Two years! What has he done to deserve this?" says Rassidatou Sow, an opposition activist. "We're not surprised by this shameful decision, a decision that definitively buries freedom of expression" says Almamy Traore, Aliou Bah's lawyer. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
