British Foreign Secretary David Lammy says president-elect Trump and his Vice President JD Vance are "simply right when they say that Europe needs to do more to defend its own continent". The speech, in which the UK's chief diplomat is outlining his foreign policy priorities, comes after giving interviews to UK media in which Lammy contrasted with European counterparts by being careful not to criticise Trump in refusing to condemn his comments on US ambitions to acquire Greenland.
