But with just a week to go until Donald Trump takes office for a second term in the White House, many say they are concerned as to whether their appointments will go ahead, with the president-elect threatening to carry out the largest deportation of migrants in American history. "It really worries us because so many things are being said, and it is no secret that sometimes when Donald Trump says things, he does them," says Venezuelan Dayana Hernandez, who has her appointment set for January 29, a little more than a week after the presidential inauguration in the US.
