India commissioned three indigenously manufactured navy vessels on Wednesday as the world's most-populous country grows increasingly anxious over authoritarian China's assertive presence in key maritime shipping lanes around the region. AFP was given a tour of the warships on January 11 ahead of their launch. "It is a very proud moment," said Sandeep Shorey, a Commanding Officer in India's Navy.
