The rescue operation of illegal miners at a disused gold shaft in the South African town of Stilfontein is "complete" after finding no more bodies, alive or dead, says Mannas Fourie, CEO of Mines Rescue Services. Dozens have died in the mine, police say, where illegal miners have been underground for months. "For now, I mean since there are no bodies and we came back twelve hours after the operation has been completed to make sure that there is nobody, from now we are going to move away from the site," Fourie says.
