Description
"I do everything I can," says Rosa Schneeberger, "so that my grandchildren and other poor children don't have to go through this". The 88-year-old recalls her experiences of the Roma holocaust, a long-forgotten genocide carried out by the Nazis that researchers are now trying to document. Rosa was five when she was deported with her mother and siblings to largest Roma camp, the Lackenbach site, in annexed Austria. 80 years after the camp's liberation, Schneeberger says she hopes "it doesn't happen again."
